I'll be honest.

Das Schichtsystem wasn't born because I thought it would be a good business idea. It was born because for 11 years I tried everything out there — and almost all of it failed.

What I tried

Nutrition plans from fitness apps. Sleep trackers that told me when to sleep — while my shift schedule dictated something else. Gym programs that assumed free evenings. Supplements. Motivational content. Books about productivity.

All reasonable. All made for someone who comes home in the evening, wakes up rested, and has a stable daily routine.

I didn't have that. I had shift work.

The problem wasn't me. The problem was that I kept installing software built for a different operating system.

What Das Schichtsystem is

Das Schichtsystem is what I built for myself over 11 years — combined with what I've learned while training as a nutrition coach (ILS). It's not a motivation program. Not a fitness program. Not a wellness package.

It's a structured system for sleep, nutrition and movement — built explicitly for people who live in shift work. With concrete adjustments for early shift, late shift, night shift and rotating shift.

It doesn't assume you get up at 7 in the morning. It doesn't assume you have regular working hours. It assumes you know when your next shift is — and that's it.

What it isn't

It's not a promise. I'm not saying: "in 8 weeks you'll be transformed." I'm saying: "if you apply the system consistently, your body will start working with you instead of against you." That takes longer than 8 weeks. But it lasts longer, too.
